About the Leadership


                                Don Carter, President/Principal 
of Cartgroup International, a consortium of professional consultants based in the Dallas, TX. area is an exciting leader with diversified experience that includes career transition, executive coaching, marketing, sales development, training and development, human relations, and procurement professions. He  held senior and executive level positions with Fortune 500 companies in various industries.  He served as the 2003 & 2004 President of the Association of Career  Professionals International  for Dallas Fort Worth Chapter and 2006 Treasurer and board  member of the USA Country National Board for the Association of Career Professionals  International - Washington, D.C. www.acpinternational-usa.org

As a skilled facilitator with international experience in the delivery or design of training processes used  or presented  in various countries,  Carter will bring to your organization a depth of knowledge that is both diverse and unique. His consistency in communication  excellence and strong interpersonal skills have  gained him respect among his peers while also allowing him to effectively interact with executives and employees at various levels of an organization. He has  lead the facilitation of  training from the "gold mines to the boardrooms." His extensive background in business management provide a strong   "backdrop" for a  professional career that has included  the founding developer of a corporate university; respected  career transition coach; leader in mutual respect (diversity) programs; accountant; marketing professional; director of  sale development; purchasing professional; liaison officer for government small business contracting; public speaking  and business ownership.

Marcia E. Carter, Vice President/Principal, B.S./R.N., Pennsylvania State University leads the day-to-day operations, sales, negotiations, client management, and presentation elements of Cartgroup. Her diverse background appropriately supports the coaching, leadership and executive development mission of the team.  She is outstanding in personnel supervision and management within the  pharmaceutical and medical staffing areas. 

Marcia's  extensive industry and professional experience in the pharmaceutical, hospital and consumer healthcare markets clearly provide a strong backdrop for coaching, training and employee development assignments.    As an executive, she has been successful in providing career counseling, leadership development and coaching to  senior level professionals throughout her career. For over eighteen years, Marcia has successes in a highly sensitive and fast paced environment as lead of various departments within the SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceutical Company (now known as Glaxo SmithKline) that required regular interaction the senior medical staff and  the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in Washington , D.C.  

She  holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University, State College, PA with a B.S./R.N. and  is licensed as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Texas. She has served as a  Board member for Pennsylvania State University and Trustee of St. Mark’s School of Texas.

Donald Carter, Director, Communications and Client Services - B.A., Organizational and Interpersonal Communication, California State University leads the communications and client services department ensuring that our client's specific needs are met.  He is an experienced people manager having worked  with such companies as Enterprise and Abercrombie and Fitch where his leadership skills excelled.  Donald has received awards for sales, customer service, leadership and recruitment. He excelled in track and field events where he was a recruited NCAA Division 1 athlete and team captain.
